Tweens

Meet several permanent resident animals from the Kevin P. Clinton Wildlife Center and Farmpark. Learn how wild and domestic animals fit into our planet’s ecosystem.  All ages welcome.

Join us for an afternoon surrounded by the soothing, but sometimes blustery, world of spring poetry. Renowned local poet Grace Butcher gives some excellent writing tips and reads some of her terrific poetry. We'll do some group writing as well as explore the form of Japanese Haiku.  All ages welcome.

Bake or make an entirely edible "book" creation and bring it to the library by 11 a.m. The creations will be judged in Funniest, Most Realistic and Most Book-Like categories. Stories and cookie decorating will also take place. No registration required.  All ages welcome.

Join the Snow Queen and her sister for a musical performance and a special storytime. Get your picture with the princesses and create a fun craft!  All ages.  

Compete in various Lego challenges to win prizes!  Ages 5 to 12.

Come enjoy a fun round or two of mini golf in the library. Holes will be set-up throughout the library, prizes awarded for finishing a round. No registration required.

Ms. Christina (a Highland dance teacher in her spare time) will teach an introductory Scottish Highland Dance Series. This class will be geared toward children, but interested adults are welcome.
